Sherkin Island - Inis Earcháin

Sherkin Island lies just one mile across Baltimore Harbour. The Island offers a range of pristine sandy beaches which are accessed through leafy lanes surrounded by breathtaking scenery. A long time haven for artists and writers there are a number of galleries to visit and regular evening entertainment in the Island's pubs. A range of accommodation is available and visitors are advised to go to the Islands Craft and Information Centre in Baltimore before embarkation for advice.
